Krampfhaft: I Needed You (Om Unit Remix) [DWNLD]]

Something that Om Unit just leaked out this AM. He shot me a little AIM message that pretty much read as a link, essentially saying: hold that. So, as he did with me, I do onto thee. HOLD THAT. A remix from one of my fave, who had a phenom year. A Krampfhaft remix, as a freebie.

Enjoy this early xmas gift from Om Unit & Krampfhaft. ;)

Sweatson Klank: Fall Into Infinity [VIDEO][DWNLD]

From LA w/ lots of love comes a cat who's been in lab, tweaking a new campaign he plans to unveil in 2012, separating himself form the foggy cloud of mediocre beat music that is creating a haze over this scene, and moving forward with a club sound which will showcase a maturity which could only be achieved with the experience, worldliness and travel that only a few like Sweatson Klank have been able to accomplish. Leading up to 2012 is a leak from Sweatson Klank himself, quietly letting it bubble organically in what will be a set of releases in the next few months.

Enjoy the 1st leak: Fall Into Infinity

Koen x Nangdo x Duke Hugh: Soulection Mix [DWNLD]

A few years back, I recall going through a Dutch vibe as I seemingly discovered many of their producers all at once. The guys from Slumgullion, Hayzee (where is that dude?), Tom Trago, Nalden's label Appletree, Cinnaman etc... So many. I'm forgetting some right now, but nonetheless the talent was well an evident. In fact, i used to chat about this with the well traveled like Phat Kat. He knows.
So it was a more than pleasant surprise to see Koen put together a mix w/ homies Nangdo & Duke Hugh for Soulection. Nice. Koen and I had recently got back up as I was going through some of his older CLASSICS (who can forget 289?? Bananas). I still listen to Je Favoriete Overburen form time to time. Anyhow, here's a Nangdo x Duke Hugh x Koen Mix made for SOULECTION. Enjoy this download.

So how did it all end up?? Your hometown here Dj Hedspin took the cake, AND ate it. Shouts to Hedspin for taking it all. But how did it look?? Our fave photog David Lang, who has consistently done some fabulous work, sent me a mother load of shots. So, I posted them all to let him tell the story. Vancouver, thanks for being such a great host this weekend. I had a great time. Shouts to Red Bull Canada, esp Wheels, Macktruck and the rest of the team.
