Super happy that it's blown up like it has. I mean, when Mr. Oizo shares an EP with Flying Lotus, that's a REALLY good thing for me. Just as long as the music doesn't fall prey to formula (which I think the whole beat aesthetic is against by nature, unlike, say, dubstep), I'm a supporter.
ReplyDeleteAnd you should do some posts on Baths...the dude is inspirational. We need more actual songwriters and singers in the beat scene, it can work really well when done right!
